Khareef Season
The Khareef season, which typically runs from the end of June to mid-September, is the most distinctive and widely celebrated time of year in Dhofar, drawing visitors from across the region and beyond. During this period, the region is transformed by cool temperatures, light rainfall, and mist that blankets the mountains and plains, turning the landscape into lush greenery rarely seen elsewhere in the Arabian Peninsula. The combination of natural transformation, cultural events, and pleasant weather makes Khareef a unique and memorable experience, positioning Dhofar as a must-visit destination during these months.
