About the destination

Salalah, the capital of Dhofar Governorate in southern Oman, is renowned as the "Land of Frankincense" due to its long history with the production and trade of this precious resin. The region's unique microclimate fosters the growth of Boswellia sacra trees, the source of frankincense.
